The Legend of Kaamadeva
Tale has it that soon after the consort sati committed suicide because of the shame proven by her dad of Shiva, Daksha to Lord Shiva, Shiva turned unfortunate and began to reflect. Meanwhile, the child Parvati, of the hills, began meditating to get Lord Shiva whilst the spouse. All of the Lord became worried and scared because Lord Shiva was thinking about the planet. They contacted Kaama and requested him marry Parvati and to take his arrow to ensure that he gets back again to his unique home. Therefore, Kaama shot his arrow and went but burnt Kaama and his third-eye was angered and exposed to ashes.
Shiva partially maintains Kamadeva and relents. Although he can be seen by her, he stays without bodily type ‘anang’. The songs are the tales of the lamentations of Rati. Another meaning is the fact that Parvati (Sivais consort) provides Kamadeva back again to existence and also the evening he breathed again is recognized as Holi. Hence, Holi can also be regarded as a that celebrates love.
